Phone reservations are required for all tours.
Tour reservations are not available by e-mail. For information about the Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park or to schedule a tour, please call 314-822-8359 at least two weeks in advance and leave the following information:
- Your name
- Your telephone number
- The date and time you would like to visit
- The number of people in your party.
A tour coordinator will return your call as soon as possible. Advanced booking of tours is greatly appreciated. Special arrangements for tours should be requested at least two weeks ahead.
FLWHEP Tours
The Kraus House can accommodate a maximum of 10 people per tour. Tours of the house last approximately one hour and 15 minutes. They include a 17-minute video by Schwartz and Associates that tells the story of the construction, purchase and restoration of the Kraus House, a Usonian design based on a parallelogram grid (see FLWHEP floor plan). Viewers have the opportunity to hear from a variety of persons involved in the project, including Russell Kraus, who had the house built; Lee Patterson, the builder; and those responsible for the purchase and restoration of the house. Bathroom facilities are not available except for a portable toilet.
House Location
The Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park is located in Kirkwood in suburban St. Louis County. As shown on the locator map, the restored home is just south of Dougherty Ferry Road, about .3 miles east of I-270 at the following address:

Tour Fees
The public tour fee is $10 per person. Tours for children 12 and under are $5 or $3 per student for school groups. Toddlers are discouraged because touching of fabrics and furniture is not allowed.
Tours are FREE for FLWHEP members. A $50 membership provides free admission for one person, while membership at the $75 level includes free admission for one member and one guest. Members may visit as often as they wish.
